A refreshing summer Sangria recipe with fruity and herbal notes

Ingredients

  • 750 ml bottle (6 1/2 cups) red wine, French Cabernet or based on preference
  • 1 Provençale blend
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 naval orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 peach / nectarine / other seasonal fruits thinly sliced
  • 4 oz lemon soda

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a container except soda; leave aside a few slices of fruit for garnish
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 4-24 hours
  3. Strain to serve in a Punch Bowl or large glass pitcher
  4. Add ice & remaining fruit as garnish, top with the soda.
  5. Garnish: Fruit from mix or freshly sliced, on and/or in each glass
