A refreshing summer Sangria recipe with fruity and herbal notes
Ingredients
- 750 ml bottle (6 1/2 cups) red wine, French Cabernet or based on preference
- 1 Provençale blend
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 naval orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 peach / nectarine / other seasonal fruits thinly sliced
- 4 oz lemon soda
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a container except soda; leave aside a few slices of fruit for garnish
- Cover and refrigerate for 4-24 hours
- Strain to serve in a Punch Bowl or large glass pitcher
- Add ice & remaining fruit as garnish, top with the soda.
- Garnish: Fruit from mix or freshly sliced, on and/or in each glass
